Prevalence of Seed-borne Fungal Invasion on Tossa Jute (<i>Corchorus olitorius</i>) Seeds

Fungi of different kinds/races have been observed on Tossa jute seeds collected from locations in Bangladesh. These fungi harm the quality and lessen germination percentage seeds. The aim this research was to determine seed-borne fungal pathogens varieties experiments were conducted following Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with four replications. Eight are used present research. Seed sample each every variety districts predominant identified Macrophomina phaseolina, Botryodiplodia theobromae, Aspergillus spp., Fusarium spp. Penicillum Kishoregonj District as well O-72 is most vulnerable response seed borne infection, individually simultaneously. Rangpur O-795 secure No limitation has found conduct experiment. extreme constraints which deadly influenced healthy production. From results obtained study, it will be easy select right location for production And Farmers can careful at beginning cultivation get rid fungus more prevalent.
